FAQs

Do I have to completely undress?

You should undress down to your comfort level.  Some clients do undress completely but some leave their underwear on. It’s entirely up to you.  You will be properly draped at all times and only the areas being worked on will be uncovered.

Will I be covered during my massage?

Yes!  You will be tucked in under a warm sheet and a blanket.  Only the areas being worked on will be uncovered, like your arms, legs and back.  Always talk to your massage therapist if you become uncomfortable for any reason.

How often should I get a massage?

Once a month is a really good maintenance plan if you have no pressing issues that you are working through.  If you are battling an injury, chronic issue or high stress levels, once a week may be appropriate until the issue has healed or calmed down.

What should I do during my massage?

Breathe, just breathe and relax.  Always communicate with your massage therapist if they reach an area that is tender or may be uncomfortable but otherwise just try to relax and enjoy.

What are the marks left when getting a cupping massage?

They are not bruising. The marks that you may see is stagnant blood and toxin that have been stuck in your compressed and tight muscle tissue. The cupping pulls that gunk up and out of your tissue and creates space for fresh, new, oxygenated blood to flow into those areas for faster healing.
